‘Dolphin Tanki’ is a flagship platform of Salaam Bombay Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Incubator for Grassroots Adolescents. Through this platform, SBF is able to provide resource challenged entrepreneurs (aged 16 - 20 years) with mentorship, business acumen, capital access and market linkages. The budding adolescent entrepreneurs (who acquired skills through different SBF academies) pitch their business ideas across sectors including Beauty & Wellness, Bakery & Confectionary, Electrical and Electronics Appliance Repair, Photography, Choreography and Dance Fitness to an esteemed jury and stand a chance to win support to further grow and scale their ventures.
For the two rounds conducted so far, we had 150 + adolescents who were a part of the entrepreneurship incubator. 24 of them were shortlisted and mentored further to pitch at the Dolphin Tanki platform. 14 among them were the winners and have been the awarded the in-kind support for their businesses.
